[1] Is Carleton Law Group still looking after my file?
While our office is closed to the public, staff member at Carleton Law Group are currently working at the office or remotely from their homes. Please do not attend the office or our homes unless specifically instructed by one of our staff members until further notice.
If you need to reach us by telephone, please call our usual number at (506) 634-0001 and leave a brief message with your name and your phone number. Someone will check messages regularly and your message will be forwarded to the person you wish to speak to.
[2] Can I still sign documents with you?
This will be handled on a case by case basis. We have a specific protocol for all matters requiring face-to-face meetings. We are doing everything necessary to reduce everyone’s risk of exposure to the virus.
[3] Is my family or litigation matter still going to Court?
As of June 1, 2020 Court proceedings have resumed with specific protocols in relation to each matter.
Ensure that you communicate with your lawyer in relation to protocols prior to your Court appearance. Our lawyers are making sure that you are involved in the process.
[4] I need to drop off documents to you for my file! How do I do that?
If you are able to scan and email us the documents, that is the preferred method of providing documents to us at this time. If original documents are required, you may mail them to the office and someone will ensure the mail is looked after. Our mailing address is:
