Marissa Mallet

Marissa Mallet is a dedicated paralegal, providing administrative support, client communication, and document preparation. Supporting clients in both English and French. Originally from northern New Brunswick, Marissa is enjoying her new home in Fredericton and all the experiences the region has to offer. She is committed to ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and understood throughout every stage of their legal matters.

Marissa began her career as a Youth Delinquency Interventionist, working closely with young people involved in the criminal justice system. As a group home supervisor and primary liaison between youth, social workers, and court review boards, she gained extensive knowledge of the challenges families face within the justice process. After nearly three years in the field, Marissa transitioned into the legal profession with the goal of continuing to support families in a new capacity. Her background gives her a unique perspective in family law, allowing her to approach each matter with empathy and support lawyers with a strong focus on the best interests of children.

Outside the office, Marissa loves exploring nature trails with her dog, Cecil. A nature enthusiast, animal lover, and passionate advocate for community well-being, she has participated in local “Community Clean Up” initiatives and has served as an advocate for Harm Reduction in the City of Moncton. She also enjoys traveling, discovering new places, and indulging in good food whenever she can.
